Some Wedding Ideas

If you can imagine yourself in a wedding dress and Wellington boots (it has been done!), a wedding in Lorton would be perfect.
Mark and Jacqui at ‘The Wheatsheaf’ pub (a minutes walk from Winder hall) will happily provide soup, beer and sandwiches before the ceremony – an ideal way for guests to gather before the service

What about having a small family dinner in the dinning room the night before, followed by a marquee reception after the ceremony?
No need to leave the party early. Spend your honeymoon night in one of our four-posters. Don’t worry – we will make sure no-one but the bride and groom gets access to your room!

With seven en-suite bedrooms available at Winder Hall, close friends and family can stay over. We can advise on other local hotels and B&Bs for your other guests and can organise transport to and from Winder Hall.
Jazz trio, string quartet, soul band, big band or caelidh – organise your own entertainment or let us help you.
