Grounds & GardensHidden from the house and overlooking the river meadow, our new Summer House is equipped with a Nordic sauna and intimate Jacuzzi hot tub. Whatever the time of year, take a walk down to the summer house. Breathe in the scent of daffodils, rhododendrons, wild flowers, rosemary and cedar. Look out over the meadow to the farms nestling on the back-drop of our local fells. If you have had a day on the hills, soothe aching muscles in the hot tub. Order a pot of tea or a bottle of wine and switch off for a while. Been caught in a downpour or been buffeted by the mountain storms? Step inside the sauna, warm yourself through and re-live the day’s adventure. Take time to enjoy this little corner of the Lake District, far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Five of the National Park’s Lakes are within fifteen minute drive of Winder Hall… plus there are lots of mountains. Use the menu on the right for a few selected highlights. |
