Come and relax with us and let us make your stay really special. Explore the picturesque vale of Lorton and the many lakes close by. Return to the welcoming warmth of Winder Hall and take a dip in the hot tub, before putting your feet up in front of the log fire with afternoon tea in the lounge. If you’re booked in for dinner, enjoy our complimentary chef’s canapés and buy a drink from the bar in the lounge, before sampling our finely cooked local produce.

Prices above are per night per room based on 2 people sharing, and include afternoon tea with cake, and full Cumbrian breakfast the following day. DB&B prices are inclusive of a 3 course evening meal. A fourth course is available at a supplement of £5. Reserving a table for dinner with us is advisable at the time of booking your stay.

Winder Hall Information
Weekend room reservations usually require a minimum stay of 2 nights, although occasionally we can accommodate a 1 night stay – it is always worth enquiring on 01900 85107.
Single person occupancy: £40 Discount – mid-week only.
All rooms are en-suite Please ask if you prefer a bath or shower, as not all rooms have both.

The Restaurant is fully licensed and non-residents are welcome to join us for dinner. A three-course menu is available at £35 per person and a full four course table d’hote menu is offered at £40. Enjoy complimentary chef’s canapés while you  enjoy a drink in the Lounge from 6.30pm. Dinner is served in the Restaurant at 7.30pm. Coffee and home- made fudge are served in the lounge after dinner.

Children are welcome at Winder Hall. There is a £15 B&B charge for children sharing with their parents. We request children only join their parents in the Dining Room if they are old enough to enjoy our evening meal. We are happy to provide an earlier children’s tea, charged at £7.50 per child.

Champagne and/or chocolates and flowers are available on arrival. Please let us know at your point of booking if you require any of these.

Winder Hall is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. You can also book Winder Hall for exclusive house-parties. Please phone for details.

Pricing Policy: We very occasionally offer special reductions due to last-minute cancellations or availability. Please note that once a room is booked, rates are not transferable to subsequent offers or rates. Booking early is the best way of guaranteeing “room at the inn”.
