New Year Celebrations at Winder Hall

Join us for a fabulous two night New year break at five star, luxurious and intimate Winder Hall, near Cockermouth in the Lake District, Cumbria. Look at our reviews on Tripadvisor to see what guests think of us.

On New Year’s Eve we will welcome you to Winder Hall with mulled wine and mince pies by the roaring, open log fire in the lounge. You then have time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before meeting for a pre-dinner glass of champagne and canapés, followed by a gourmet Gala New Year’s Eve six course dinner in our oak-panelled dining room. Enjoy every moment of your special evening, and bring in the New Year in style!

On New Year’s Day, tuck in to a Full English Breakfast at your leisure. Then you are welcome to relax at the hotel and enjoy a light lunch, or we will be delighted to provide you with a packed lunch to take on a walk to explore the Lake District. When you have enjoyed time out, return for mulled wine and mince pies, or afternoon tea and cake in front of the fire (or both!). Later on we’re sure you’ll be ready for pre-dinner drinks & canapés, and a wonderful four course dinner, followed by coffee and homemade fudge in the lounge.

We will be sorry to see you leave on Monday 2nd January 2012, but will make sure we’ve given you a delicious breakfast before you go, and we’ll hope that, as with many guests of Winder, we’ll be able to welcome you back again during 2012!
